Hi, good post. I have been wondering about travel insurance and whether it was worth it, so thanks for posting.

Hi, Keith. Thanks for the interest. I had a proposal that I used for the banks when I was first trying to get a business loan. While I did end up borrowing a bit of money from the bank, I financed much of the start up costs through saving my own capital and using credit cards. The business has definitely paid for itself since I started it five years ago. As far as proposals for getting companies to sponsor events, I also had some in the beginning when I was shopping the idea of having a outdoor movie business on Kauai, but they have long since disappeared. Like many businesses, especially on a closed community like Kauai, word of mouth has been the main driver of business leads for me. People come up to me at screenings and ask for cards or my phone number and that leads to more shows. It is a relatively small community and most people know a friend of a friend of a friend.

Hi V, I'm sorry you feel the need to hide your true identity. My bosses at Wasabi have removed the link to my site (thanks buddy). They had it there to try and help me out.

I also personally went in and made the links to their clients more obvious.

I am sorry you felt the need to edit my original post or to answer the question I posed in it.
Wasabi references Garden-Isle as a client with a link from their homepage - albeit very 'discreetly' - for SEO purposes. How would you define client? Owner, partner? ~V

Hi V. I do contract HTML/CSS work for Wasabi Marketing and have a great relationship with them. I asked them to do the design for this site, and even though we work together, they turned me down! Can you believe it?

Hi Garden Isle. I'm curious why Wasabi Marketing links to this blog from their home page if they turned you down as a client!
